Our most beautiful matelasse bedspread and sham woven in an elegant "Trapunto" Style.

Also called "stuffed Work", Trapunto originated around the 14th century in Sicily and became popular in English and France in the 1600's before it was introduced by European immigrants to America.

Woven with the finest quality cotton yarns, our Abigail Adams shams are machine washable and will not shrink nor fade.

Shams are finished with luxurious knotted string fringe, just like the bedspreads.

Fabric content: 100% Cotton woven into an elegant heavy matelasse construction.
